Brandon M. Rushing
Founder & President
Brandon formed B. Rushing in 1995. He continued operating the business while attending George Mason University full time, where he earned his B.S. in Business Management. After graduation Brandon continued his horticulture training by earning the CLP Certified Landscape Professional, through our leading industry association; PLANET. Brandon enjoys all outdoor activities and coaching wrestling. In addition he is currently the Head Wrestling Coach at Lee High School. Brandon lives in Springfield with his wife Melissa and daughters Savana and Sierra.

Allen Safrit
Landscape Designer
Allen has been with B. Rushing Lawn and Landscaping, Inc. since 2002. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture. Allen runs the landscape division and oversees production. Allen is recognized by the VSLD as a Certified Landscape Designer. In addition Allen is our Lead Trainer for weekly training meetings with all team members. His creative designs, plant knowledge and attention to detail, has clients raving about their projects.

Melissa Rushing
Accounting Manager, Human Resources
Melissa began with B. Rushing In 2001. Melissa manages accounts payable and receivable. In addition, she manages the human resources and landscape administration/production. Melissa graduated from George Mason University with a BSN.

Carlos Martinez
Fleet/Equipment Mechanic
Carlos joined our team in 2004. He has over 15 years experience in maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Carlos is responsible for maintaining all trucks and equipment for safety, maintenance and a great appearance. At B. Rushing we take pride in our fleet of trucks and equipment and Carlos makes this a reality each day. All trucks and equipment that go out each day are clean, well maintained and inventoried for each tool. When our crews arrive they are ready for your project.
